Welcome to Inside PTSG.
On the eve of the general election, there has been much in the press about the Labour Party’s plan for growth. Labour has been described as pro-business and pro-worker – the party of wealth creation. Labour promises to reform the planning rules – a choice, it says, which has been ignored for 14 years – and build the homes and infrastructure we need.
The workplace has evolved a great deal since Labour was last in power, 14 years ago. Hybrid working is now the norm for a great many organisations. ESG is ingrained in every business plan as the mandate to be carbon neutral moves gradually nearer.
PTSG has been committed to the practices and principles of ESG before it became part of the everyday language of the business world. Our engineers operate in ways that enhance society and the environment – not simply because of government edicts, but because it is the right thing to do.
In this issue of Inside PTSG, Project looks at the work of PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd at the Royal Docks in Canary Wharf. This is a new hub for business and culture with approaching 1,000 new homes, so PTSG is proud to be a vital part of the supply chain.
Insight details one of the very specific services provided by our Building Access Specialists: graffiti removal. This helps businesses to ensure their buildings stay immaculate, preserving a professional presentation.
PTSG remains extremely busy in all divisions and this newsletter includes the usual cross-section of news from across the business.
I wish you all the best and look forward to keeping you informed of further updates from throughout the Group.
Best wishes
Paul Teasdale
Executive Chairman
