Welcome to Inside PTSG.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been dominating the headlines in various sectors, including FM over the last few weeks. A recent study stated that , in response to traditional business models being upended, some business leaders are rushing to reorganise and reskill, elevating new skills and specialties while deprioritising those that have become obsolete.
At PTSG, we have always striven to be at the cutting edge of the markets in which we operate, employing innovation to find ways to delight our customers across all five if our business divisions. We will continue to keep a keen eye on the development of AI and what it may mean in our sectors.
In this issue, Insight looks at the importance of electrical testing and how this is so important to maintain safe systems, all the while ensuring compliance with industry standards. On the same subject, this month’s Project looks at the work of our Electrical Services engineers at Oxford Brookes University, where we have worked collaboratively with the client to achieve compliance, ensure potential health and safety issues were addressed and produce a full set of electrical records.
We also feature one of the many extraordinary buildings we are privileged to work on, while In the News shows a snapshot of the activity within our different business divisions.
I wish you all the best and look forward to keeping you informed of further updates from throughout the Group.
Best wishes
Paul Teasdale
