Wellies, spades and determination were the order of the day as PTSG representatives joined forces with local conservation experts to help build a greener future. Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) Business Development Director Tanya Matthews and colleague Lee Bentley swapped their office attire for gardening gloves at the Forest of Marston Vale last week, planting saplings that will grow into a thriving woodland ecosystem for generations to come.

The “Tree in a Million” campaign underscores PTSG’s growing commitment to environmental stewardship. Research commissioned by the Forest of Marston Vale Trust reveals the remarkable impact of woodland creation – each £1 invested in reforestation yields approximately £18 in environmental, social, and local economic benefits across the UK. By joining this initiative, PTSG is helping plant 65,000 trees on a single site before the end of March, creating a lasting natural legacy.

“At PTSG, our commitment to being the best extends beyond our service delivery to how we care for the environment and communities where we operate,” said Tanya Matthews, Business Director at PTSG. “Participating in the Tree in a Million campaign aligns perfectly with our strategic pillar of ‘Thriving Sustainably’ and demonstrates our dedication to creating a positive environmental legacy.”

The tree planting day began with a networking event at the Forest Centre, followed by an afternoon of planting at the designated site. PTSG team members worked alongside other businesses and community representatives, sharing a common goal of environmental stewardship.

This initiative reinforces PTSG’s brand values of excellence and sustainability, showing how the company is putting its commitment to environmental responsibility into action. The trees planted will help combat climate change, enhance biodiversity and create new habitats for wildlife.

PTSG continues to explore innovative ways to minimise its environmental impact while delivering unparalleled building compliance and maintenance services. The company’s participation in the “Tree in a Million” campaign is just one aspect of its broader sustainability agenda, which includes reducing carbon emissions, minimising waste, and promoting sustainable practices across all operations.
