Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed a contract to deliver specialist electrical services at the University of Chester.
The University of Chester originated as the first purpose-built teacher training college in the UK. As a university, it now occupies five campus sites in and around Chester, one in Warrington, and a University Centre in Shrewsbury. It is the fifth-oldest higher education establishment in England, with only the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Durham and London outdating it.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd completed a test and inspection of the lightning protection system in place on campus at the University of Chester. Any remedial repairs highlighted by the test and inspection can also be carried out by PTSG’s electrical engineers. As the UK’s leading provider of lightning protection services, PTSG designs and installs bespoke and standard systems, as well as delivering test and inspection and repair services.
PTSG is proud to have reported on a number of other contracts at universities around the UK in recent weeks. The Group has built up a large education portfolio, providing a wide range of specialist services to buildings at university campuses as well as colleges of higher education, primary, secondary and nursery schools.
