Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist fire solutions at a new residential development in South West London.
Sterling Place in New Malden offers a range of new one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments of which 169 will be affordable homes. The development, which is built on the grounds of a former print works, is within quick and easy reach of central London, while bring equally close to royal parks and the Surrey Hills.
Barratt London is the home builder and main contractor on the project which plans to revitalise this part of New Malden. With extensive tree and shrub planting, the site contributes to a 10% biodiversity net gain in the area. There are also 240 electric charging points and over 900 cycle storage spaces.
Engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will install sprinkler systems to provide protection for residents in the event of a fire. Fire sprinklers are widely recognised as the single most effective method of fighting the spread of fires in their early stages. Around 90% of building fires are controlled by fewer than four sprinkler heads.
