Andrew Sadler, Health & Safety Advisor at Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), has completed the Delamere Trail Marathon, raising funds for the Severn Hospice.

Running two laps of the half-marathon route, which climbs through the beautiful Cheshire woodland to an elevation of 678 metres, Andrew finished in just under four hours. His position was 33rd out of 170 runners – a fantastic result in cool conditions.

Despite underestimating the difficulty of the route and distance, Andrew’s excellent finishing time and the charitable cause he was running for made it more than worthwhile. Three of Andrew’s close friends’ mums have spent time at Severn Hospice during their final days, receiving excellent vital care.

Contributions can still be made to Severn Hospice via Andrew’s JustGiving page.

Severn Hospice cares for families from the moment they’re referred there, for as long as they need help, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid-Wales who needs that help.
