Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has delivered defibrillators as part of specialist electrical services for South Cambridgeshire District Council.
ECS Ltd’s engineers, part of PTSG Electrical Services Ltd, recently installed five defibrillators as part of contract with the council. The council was formed on 1 April 1974 by the merger of Chesterton Rural District and South Cambridgeshire Rural District. It completely surrounds the city of Cambridge, which is administered separately from the district by Cambridge City Council.
Councillor Bill Handley, Lead Cabinet Member for Communities for South Cambridgeshire District Council said, “Defibrillators are on standby 24/7 ready to save lives. Every second counts in cardiac emergency situations and these machines can help ordinary individuals become lifesavers in extraordinary circumstances. We are delighted to have been able to help secure funding to provide these machines in the community which are an important community asset.
“Very happy that ECS were able to provide help in installing lifesaving equipment outside the Council’s sheltered scheme communal rooms.”
