Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is getting ready for the provision of powered access platforms for another season of major sporting and music events.
The hire team from NSS Group, part of PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd, helps broadcasters to stream the world’s biggest competitions and festivals from its platforms. This is done through the hire and operation of powered access platforms, from small cherry pickers to 70-metre-tall truck-mounted platforms. NSS Group helps broadcasters to get the best coverage for audiences at home.
In September 2022, its team provided access platforms to support coverage of the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The event watched by 26 million viewers in the UK, and several billions more worldwide. This was a request like no other for the hire team. It required a rapid response, careful logistics planning, and a discreet and professional presence.
In 2023, The Boat Race, The Grand National, Royal Ascot, Glastonbury and the Isle of Wight Festivals all benefitted from access platforms provided by NSS Group. Its services also extend into Europe, covering golfing events including the Porsche Open in Hamburg. NSS Group also covered the Horizon Irish Open at the world-famous K Club.
