Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has recently completed a lightning protection for NHS Property Services, drawing strong praise from the client.
A team from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd carried out a test and inspection of the client’s lightning protection system, enabling some high-risk remedial work and, ultimately, a positive outcome. The client commented: “PTSG’s engineers (Yana James and Keiran Wain) have both been very responsive and really helpful… Please pass on my gratitude and I would hope that both could be given some recognition in view of their sterling efforts, going the extra mile. Nothing was too much trouble and I truly felt that the levels of engagement were excellent.”
Once a lightning protection system is installed, it must be professionally tested at least once a year to ensure it is capable of conducting a potential lightning strike to a safe earthing point. This ensures compliance with the Electricity at Work Act 1989 and BS EN 62305.
