Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), via constituent business NSS, has completed a specialist structural services project at Trinity House, Glasgow.
The Architect Charles Wilson designed the building. Builders constructed it in 1856 for use as a training college for ministers of the Free Church of Scotland. It was a multi-disciplinary institution of considerable reputation, existing outside the University of Glasgow’s Faculty of Divinity.
On 2 November 2006, Trinity College celebrated its 150th anniversary with a gathering of some 250 alumni and friends. Its 155th anniversary celebrations took place on 4 November 2011.
In this project, specialists from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd assisted with a roof and structural survey of Trinity House and its 50-metre-high tower. They used a 70m Bronto XR with operator to allow hands-on inspection of the roof and the tower.
PTSG’s specialists are qualified and equipped to carry out the full spectrum of building repair and structural services. This includes maintenance and cleaning work for customers in all industry sectors. Rope access enables PTSG’s engineers to install and remove all equipment quickly, causing minimal disruption and saving valuable time. They also skillfully use other equipment, including scaffolding and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs).
