Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist electrical services at a new development beside Deptford Creek in Greenwich.

The Saxon Wharf development is a residential-led scheme within Greenwich Town Centre. Previously tenanted by a plant hire company, this brownfield site is being redeveloped for our client Notting Hill Genesis to provide 145 new affordable 1, 2 and 3-bedroom homes with 50% shared ownership units and 401sqm of flexible commercial/employment floorspace.

BPTW architects designed the development. They arranged the new part 13, part 17-storey building to maximize views and access to Deptford Creek. The new development will be car-free, providing parking for blue badge holders only. Instead, the completed scheme will offer storage for a minimum of 244 cycles, and boasts excellent public transport links.

In this contract, engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will install a new lightning protection system at the residential development. This is to provide protection for the development in the event of an electrical storm.

PTSG is the UK’s leading provider of lightning and surge protection systems. Its engineers design, install and commission new systems for clients in all sectors. They also carry out mandatory testing and inspection of systems. The law requires this at least every year to ensure they remain safe and fully operational. Highly experienced and qualified, PTSG’s engineers can conduct any required maintenance work.
