Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) played an important role in Saturday’s Trooping the Colour ceremony.

On Saturday 15th June 2024, members of the Royal Family came together to mark The King’s official birthday with the annual Trooping the Colour Parade, showcasing the best of military pageantry and celebrating the Monarch’s links to the Armed Forces.

As is tradition, The King wore the tunic of the Guard of Honour Order, the Irish Guards. The Queen, who is Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, wore her Grenadier Guards military brooch. Their Majesties travelled to the Parade in the Scottish State Coach: one of the oldest in the Royal Mews. The Princess of Wales travelled with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in the Glass Coach.

Operatives from NSS Hire – a constituent part of PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd – supplied truck-mounted access systems strategically positioned along The Mall, giving the ideal vantage point for TV pictures to be broadcast.

In September 2022, its team provided access platforms to support coverage of the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The event watched by 26 million viewers in the UK, and several billions more worldwide. This was a request like no other for the hire team. It required a rapid response, careful logistics planning, and a discreet and professional presence.
