Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) will deliver specialist fire solutions services to the London College of Fashion.
Towards the end of September, construction of the new home of London College of Fashion (part of the University of the Arts London) was completed at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. East Bank hosts the college, which stands as the UK’s newest cultural quarter developed by the London Legacy Development Corporation.
The building has made the most of modern methods of construction and eye-catching design to create an iconic structure befitting of its purpose.
Michael J Lonsdale provided project and construction management services on this impressive new facility. The company oversees the creation of the state-of-the-art campus which supports 6,500 students. The campus houses a world-leading research community, business incubation and social enterprise centre, public open spaces, galleries, libraries and archives.
In this project, engineers from MP Fire Protection, a constituent company of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG), built strong relationships with Michael J Lonsdale and Mace to provide sprinklers, dry risers and wet risers at the new college campus. This forms part of total fire solutions strategy to keep building and users safe in the event of a fire.
