Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to provide lightning protection system at a new world-class model of conferencing facilities in central London.

The design for 2-3 Finsbury Avenue aimed to replace two existing offices in the Broadgate Campus, near Liverpool Street Station. The development consists of four tapered buildings including a 32-storey tower. It also responds to the increasing demand for office space in the City of London.

The new development covers 561,254 square feet of commercial space. The architectural design enables its occupants to experience a new and more dynamic pattern of city working and living by offering a range of amenities close at hand. At ground level, the street frontages will provide a significantly enhanced retail offering. The proposal suggests creating a new diagonal route to enhance connectivity to the north through the Campus. Glass lifts will provide access to a 13th-floor restaurant, café, and roof terrace.

In this contract, engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd will deliver a brand-new lightning protection system at the development. This will provide vital protection for the buildings and all users in the event of an electrical storm.

PTSG is the UK’s leading provider of lightning protection services. Its engineers are at work throughout the nation, delivering test and inspection, repairs, upgrades and brand-new bespoke or off-the-shelf lightning and surge protection systems. PTSG serves clients in all industry sectors.
