Welcome to Inside PTSG.
There has been a lot in the press in recent weeks about employee wellbeing, both from a physical and mental standpoint. As a company whose workforce is continually expanding, we strive to ensure our staff are well cared for as well as having the opportunity to advance their careers with us through training and improving their skills.
Mental health is an area in which we have always been proactive, and we began training staff throughout the Group to become Mental Health First Aiders before the advent of COVID. We now have over 20 trained experts throughout the business who can be approached in confidence at any time.
This month’s Insight describes the efforts of teams from two different areas of the Group both of whom completed the Three Peaks Challenge in June, raising money for some extremely worthwhile causes. Fundraising activities such as these take place throughout the year and it is always a pleasure to report the results.
We also present a short case study on the work of a team from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd, which is installing fall protection systems at a restoration project in central London.
We also feature one of the many extraordinary buildings we are privileged to work on, while In the News shows a snapshot of the activity within our different business divisions.
I wish you all the best and look forward to keeping you informed of further updates from throughout the Group.
Best wishes
Paul Teasdale
Executive Chairman
