Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has deployed teams from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd in various locations across the south of England to repair and replace flagpoles in preparation for the coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as king and queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms.
The coronation is scheduled to take place on Saturday 6th May 2023. Compared with previous coronations, the ceremony will undergo some alterations to represent multiple faiths, cultures, and communities across the UK, and will be shorter than Elizabeth II’s coronation in 1953.
On the day of the coronation, the King and the Queen Consort will travel to Westminster Abbey in the Gold State Coach as part of a procession known as “The King’s Procession”.
PTSG has many years’ experience in delivering a wide range of specialist services at height. Principally, the engineers from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd work on buildings of all kinds to ensure they are structurally sound, clean and maintained from roof to ground. However, they perform many other services, including flagpole repair and replacement, employing their access skills and equipment for a growing number of customers throughout the UK.
