Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist electrical services at Chancery House in Holborn, Central London.
In December 2020, The Office Group announced plans for a major makeover of its £114m Chancery House site, which respond to the changing needs of tenants in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The refurbishment programme, which is now well underway, includes a fit-out of all nine floors comprising 165,000 square feet of office space. There will also be a communal lounge, quiet co-working areas, café and retail space, as well as event and gym facilities.
Extensive structural works are also being carried out to extend the internal atrium from the ground to third floor, increasing the office floor area by 4,000 square feet, and creating a new roof and external curtain wall façade. The ground floor lightwells will be opened up to generate lower ground courtyards and a new third floor roof terrace incorporated to offer outside space as part of the refurbishment.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd have been contracted to deliver a new lightning protection system at Chancery House. This will safeguard the building and its users in the event of an electrical storm.
