Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver a range of specialist services for the Science Museum Group (SMG).
The SMG is a collection of British museums compromising:
• The Science Museum in South Kensington, London
• The Science and Industry Museum in Manchester
• The National Railway Museum in York
• Locomotion in County Durham
• The National Science and Media Museum in Bradford
• The National Collections Centre Museum in Swindon, Wiltshire
Overall, the Science Museum Group cares for 7.6 million objects from areas of science, technology, engineering, medicine, transport and media.
Four of PTSG’s business divisions will be lending their expertise across all six sites nationwide to deliver:
• Fall arrest testing
• Electrical testing
• Gutter cleaning
• Dry riser maintenance
This is one of a growing number of contracts in which PTSG is delivering a variety of specialist services. It is a great strength of the Group’s – and a great benefit for customers – to offer a single point of contact to coordinate all services. This streamlines the whole process, saving a great deal of time and also offering the potential for cost savings.
