Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been appointed to design and install sprinkler systems for Phase 2 of a major new residential development in Oxford.
In March 2016, the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust gained outline planning permission for 270 homes on the site of Littlemore Park. This outline permission set out clear development parameters, including the number of homes, the housing mix, building heights, and highways matters.
Phase I has been built and will deliver 202 homes later this year. A further 168 homes will be delivered over the subsequent three phases. Engineers from PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd will deliver sprinkler systems during Phase II of the development. Work will be to three residential buildings and associated infrastructure.
Sprinkler systems – design, installation, servicing and maintenance – are in high demand by customers of PTSG. The automatic sprinkler system is the most widely used fire protection system in use today and has been since 1872. These systems are designed to protect property and life as specified by the fire sprinkler standards.
