Just days after Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) announced a new contract to install a new lightning protection at Kingston University, the Group has re-secured a maintenance contract for a range of fire and security systems across the campus.
PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd (via constituent company Trinity Fire and Security Systems Ltd) had previously completed a successful five-year contract with Kingston University Service Company (KUSCO). This saw engineers providing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) for fire, public address and voice alarm (PAVA), smoke extraction/vents, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, ANSUL (anhydrous sulphur dioxide) and gas suppression across all buildings on campus. The new contract was secured through a public tender process.
Engineers from PTSG Electrical Services Ltd, meanwhile, will be installing a new lightning protection system at the redeveloped campus, where the Town House building was opened in January 2020 – a flagship six-storey building designed by RIBA Gold Medal-winning firm Grafton Architects.
The relationship between PTSG and Kingston University illustrates the Group’s multi-disciplinary capability. Its four business divisions deliver services in the areas of access and safety, electrical services, high-level services and fire solutions. What sets PTSG apart is its ability to deliver a complete specialist services solution. This simplifies delivery, with one contact for all services, and often results in cost efficiencies.
