Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has been contracted to deliver specialist electrical services at the Romford branch of the Premier Inn hotel chain.
Premier Inn is the UK’s largest hotel brand, with more than 72,000 rooms and 800 hotels. It operates hotels in a variety of locations including city centres, suburbs and airports competing with the likes of Travelodge and Ibis hotels.
Premier Inn Romford is situated less than half a mile from Romford Railway Station, in the heart of the town centre. PTSG’s Electrical Services engineers will be installing a brand-new bespoke lightning protection system to protect the facility and all residents and staff in the event of an electrical storm.
As well as working with popular national hotel chains like Premier Inn and Travelodge, PTSG has previously worked with the niche end of the market. In 2018, its engineers installed lightning protection systems at the Peninsula Hotel located in the heart of London. The Peninsula Hotels is a chain of luxury, five-star properties operated by Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels. The group’s first hotel opened in 1928 and is now the oldest in Hong Kong. The 190-room hotel on Hyde Park Corner is due to open this year.
