Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has completed specialist testing services for Marks and Spencer (M&S) at sites in Ireland as part of its agreement for December 2020.
M&S is of course a major British multi-national retailer that specialises in clothing, home products and food, mostly of its own label. Founded in 1884 in Leeds, M&S now has 959 stores across the UK.
PTSG’s work for M&S during December included the testing of fall arrest equipment in place at sites across Ireland, where the retailer has 17 stores.
PTSG began its relationship with M&S by providing fall arrest testing at a handful of its stores. This has grown to a much larger contract covering cradle maintenance, fall arrest and lightning protection across more than 400 stores.
As a result of the services PTSG delivers, M&S has considerably reduced maintenance costs and ensured the operational performance of its sites. PTSG and M&S have an aligned vision and values that mean that they are stronger together. They complement each other and are attuned to each other’s requirements and demands.
