Fall Arrest Testing Engineer

Fall Arrest Testing are part of our Access and Safety Division and form one part of the PTSG family of Companies. We have 29 sites across the UK from which 1300 employees providing niche services to over 20,000 customers. Due to some exciting projects, we have a requirement for an experienced Engineer based from our Castleford Offices, but to work across the UK.

The service we supply encompasses all types of equipment that allows engineers to safely access all areas of every kind of building to carry out specialist services
Role
The role is relatively labour intensive and necessitates working at height. Having a safety-first mind set is critical to the role. This is a nationwide role and there will be a periodic requirement to have time away from home, dependent on customer needs.

As an experienced engineer you will be able to analyse and resolve mechanical/technical problems. Proactively resolving issues in line with industry standards and working practises.
Working on construction sites where multiple tradespeople are working alongside each other to safety test access ladders, advice to either the client or managers of a project, ensuring the Company is always professionally represented.
Accurately completing all Company paperwork including point of work risk assessments, job sheets, material schedules and timesheets to ensure regulation compliance.

Essential Criteria
- Strong and proven experience in engineering and working at heights
- A good level of communications skills both written and verbal (a good level of English is essential)
- Customer facing experience in a field service environment
- Good planning/problem solving skills and management of risk.
- Team player with flexibility and dynamic approach to all tasks
- A full valid UK driving licence
