Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) is to perform a full builder’s clean at a series of brand new student accommodation buildings, situated on the site of the former Perfume Factory, for London’s Imperial College in North Acton.
IRATA-trained engineers from PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd will employ rope access techniques, also using mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), to enable them to reach all areas of the new buildings quickly and effectively.
A builder’s clean is a service provided specifically for the proceeding days after a construction or renovation project. Unlike a regular or periodic clean, a builder’s clean provides a one-off, comprehensive clean of the entire building.
The re-development at the site of the former art deco Perfume Factory in North Acton marks a significant milestone in Imperial College’s investment into Ealing. The site, which is located at 140 Wales Farm Road in North Acton, London, has seen the existing buildings demolished and five new buildings arranged over 5 to 31-storeys constructed. This has created state-of-the-art halls of residence as well as residential suites for the rental market and mixed-use commercial areas.
