Engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd are working on one of the most exclusive new residential buildings in London – 9 Millbank in Westminster.
The project includes the demolition of Ergon House, built in 1907 as the Horseferry RoadElectrical Power Station, and designed by Wimbledon Centre Court architect Charles Stanley Peach.
In its place, 9 Millbank is a neoclassical-style building clad in limestone and granite. It occupies a prime position on the banks of the River Thames in the heart of historic London. The exclusive new development boasts a collection of luxury apartments and penthouses, with prices starting at a whisker under £1million.
PTSG is designing and installing a new mansafe and abseil system at the building. The Group has a strong and growing presence in the capital, with the expertise of engineers from all four specialist divisions called upon for a variety of projects, often involving work at height. This requires an uncompromising approach to safety, which has led to the award of eight RoSPA Golds, as well as a British Safety Council award with Distinction.
