Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has secured an order for a bespoke access solution at Salesforce Tower, located at 110 Bishopsgate, London.
In 2011, PTSG’s London-based specialist Access & Safety team supplied and installed the following at Salesforce Tower: three fixed-base stainless steel clad BMUs, complete with glass lifting winch, 11 atria rail systems complete with a total of 22 manual suspension trollies and a modular cradle. In addition, two. MEWPs were supplied.
This new contract will see PTSG’s specialists install a bespoke access platform and monorail to an architectural staircase. Salesforce Tower, previously known as Heron Tower, was designed by Kohn Pederson Fox Architects. It stands at 230 meters tall, including its 28-metre mast, making it the tallest building in the City of London financial district and the third tallest in Greater London and the United Kingdom.
PTSG’s London-based Access & Safety team has worked on some of the capital’s most famous and iconic buildings, including Leadenhall Tower (nicknamed “The Cheesgrater”), 52 Lime Street (known as “The Scalpel”) and 30 St Mary’s Axe (known as “The Gherkin”).
